Our test solutions can easily increase test engineering productivity by a factor of 10 over standard manual or semi automatic scripting techniques. Command Line Test Interfaces include Telnet, SSH, and Command Windows. GUI test interfaces are Web and HTTP. We also offer specialized interfaces like SMNP and hardware network traffic generators.

Entry level tools empower the individual tester by providing a straight forward interface for manual testing and automated playback of tests. In other words, once having done a manual test, that script can be saved and replayed at will. No coding is necessary. It also aids in communication by providing a consistent method to create a test report and send it to the proper engineering resource for correction. Engineering receives full and complete test documentation. Engineering can replicate the test on the engineering test bed without further interaction with the QA testing group.

Automation tools build on the entry level tools by introducing the notion of response analysis and branching based on those responses. A test suite can be replicated on multiple test beds for testing in parallel. Test infrastructure can be captured, abstracted, and reused so you can expand the test team without forcing the new members of the team to know more than the specific feature set they are assigned to verify.

Organization level tools add the notion of configuration management so test versions can be accurately maintained as they are modified and enhanced. When you have more than one test engineer touching a particular test suite, there is a high probability of one engineer corrupting another engineer's work. Configuration management provides an easy reliable way to roll back to a know good state. It also provides for check in and check out so the various team members can identify which change caused a particular problem.
